Right of Withdrawal

The German version of this withdrawal policy is the legally binding version.
Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal for Customized Goods
Pursuant to § 312g(2)(1) BGB (German Civil Code), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or decision by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
Our map art posters are exclusively produced according to your individual specifications (map area, map style, text content, color scheme, size). Reuse or resale is not possible. Therefore, the right of withdrawal is excluded for all posters ordered through this shop.
You are expressly informed of this exclusion before completing the order and confirm this during the order process.
Withdrawal Policy
The following withdrawal policy is provided as a precaution and in full compliance with statutory requirements, even though the right of withdrawal is excluded for customized goods as described above.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the goods.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.
We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction for the refund, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged fees for the refund.
We may refuse the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the fourteen-day period expires.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Defects and Damages
Regardless of the exclusion of the right of withdrawal, you of course retain your full statutory warranty rights for defective goods.
If your poster arrives damaged or defective (e.g. printing errors, transport damage, wrong format), please contact us immediately at contact@maporo.art with a brief description and a photo of the defect. We will promptly find a solution — whether through a free reprint or full refund.
