Start with a place or picture that means something to you
Your hometown, your first home together or a photo of your dog can be a useful starting point. Choose the subject first, then adjust its colours and frame to suit the room.
A colourful city map stands out against a pale wall. A coordinates print feels quieter, with more open paper around the lettering. TextArt combines your own photo and words in one image.
Check the size on your own wall
Measure the space above your sofa or sideboard. Mark the outside dimensions of your preferred size with removable decorator’s tape. Step back and see how the outline works with furniture, lamps and windows.
A wide sofa does not automatically need one enormous print. Two smaller posters can work together. Leave room between them so each design remains easy to see.
Connect the print to a few colours already in the room
Pick up something already there: wood from a table, black from a lamp or a pale shade in the sofa. A frame can connect the print to your furniture without matching every colour exactly.
These room images are visualisations. Frames are optional; your editor preview shows the actual design and finish you select.
